McKenna Mahacek 

McKenna has been in the group since 2023. She was a newbie to the dance world at the time, but we saw her potential from miles away. In the group, McKenna is often our hostess for get-togethers. We don’t even have to ask anymore, her house is our meeting place. When we arrive, snacks are ready and drinks are cold: the perfect hostess. We also don’t mind that the second half of the evening takes place in the rooftop hot tub, the perfect way to relax our “bruised” bodies.

Did You Know?
McKenna gave up corporate life in exchange for a freelancing life in the creative field of Amsterdam. Amongst other things, she organises dance showcases with her initiative Fledgeling Dancers to give starting dancers a platform.

Fun Fact(s):
We suspect that McKenna has lived at least 8 lives on this earth. Besides having been a synchronised swimmer (yes, you read that well), she’s been a personal trainer, a marathon runner, a corporate girl, a clarinettist, a percussionist in a marching band, an essay writer, a knitter, and now she’s a dancer. We’re curious to find out what else she’s done and will get herself into!
