Meet Our Board

Andreas Hannes
Andreas Hannes is a choreographer, performer and film curator working at the intersection of movement, rhythm, and cinematic thinking. Drawing from his background in classical percussion and film, his choreographic work explores gravity, vibration, and proximity as forces that shape a constantly transforming body. Central to his practice is skipping—a physical technique and poetic gesture—which he continues to develop since his SNDO graduation performance The City (2018).

Nienke Rooijakkers
Nienke is a dramaturge and education manager at Cinedans festival for dance on film. She coaches and supports makers and students in their concept development and creation of performances, installations and films. She has a preference for interdisciplinary projects, in which the challenge is how to cleverly interweave different media. Nienke is quite new in getting to know the group but we are already thrilled by her engagement and enthusiasm!

Eva Willemijn de Zeeuw
Eva de Zeeuw has a lifelong love for dance. She studied Art History and Dance Studies, combining academic interest with a deep personal connection to movement and performance. Early in her career, Eva worked as Assistant Dance Programmer at Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam and as Festival Coordinator for Julidans Festival. She also danced with Modern Bruises for several years. As her family grew, dancing became harder to combine, making close involvement with Modern Bruises as a board member especially meaningful. Eva now works as a Project Manager at a creative agency specialising in 3D animation, bringing organisational skills, creative thinking, and strategic insight to Modern Bruises.

Diana Baaleman
Diana has a very special bond to the bruises, as she is one of our moms! She brings in her financial and organizational skills to the board as she’s a financial controller by profession. When Diana was young, she achieved level gold in ballroom dancing, she’s very fond of her two dogs and is dedicated not to miss any of our performances!
