If our body has to be beautiful, flexible, fit, functional, flawless, indestructible, ageless, skinny enough, curvy enough, special enough, then let it also be ugly, stiff, weak, blemished, breakable, tiresome, limited and old. If our body HAS to be something, then let it be a place where everything is possible.

Modern Bruises in collaboration with set design collective studi0sc0pe invite you to watch and experience If My Body. A project in which we explore the complexity of our relationship with our body, constructed by society as well as by ourselves.

An important part of the project is creating space for more voices, stories, and experiences since this is a topic about everybody / every body. Therefore, we host a panel talk after the performance with a panel of women who have affinity with the topic in different ways, to get into conversation with each other and the audience.
