About the event
Longing moves us. It pulls at our arms, it twists our spine and it pulses in our chest. Longing lives in the stretch, in the effort to become bigger than yourself, to reach what you cannot yet touch.
Like a ship that keeps drifting forward, longing pulls us to distant contours on the horizon, to promises of solid ground, luring us further and further out at sea. Sometimes we become so fixated on what is calling us that we no longer see what truly lies before us.
In So Long we wander through the many shapes of longing: its quiet necessity, its seductive call, its childlike anticipation of what is yet to come.
